Design Process
Project Overview
Purple Dew Children Care Foundation is a Nigerian nonprofit dedicated to empowering children with special needs.
To amplify our mission and support our community outreach in Ijora Badia, I led the design and development of an inclusive, user-centric website that not only communicates our values but also serves as a hub for engagement, advocacy, and resource-sharing.
My Role
As the designer and developer, I was responsible for:
Conceptualization: Crafting a clear design brief that translated Purple Dew’s mission into an intuitive digital experience.
User-Centered Design: Conducting user research and developing wireframes and prototypes to ensure the interface met accessibility standards and user needs.
Visual Identity: Creating a consistent visual language, color schemes, typography, imagery, that resonated with our values of inclusivity and empowerment.
Development: Building a responsive, SEO-friendly website using best practices in modern web technologies and tools (Framer), ensuring seamless navigation and fast load times.
Collaboration: Working closely with the communications and advocacy teams to integrate dynamic content like the Empowering Voices Series and community outreach updates.
